1. Fundamental Privacy Guarantee: Zero Financial Data Retention

Unlike many financial websites that collect and monetize your personal numbers, LopperX executes all financial calculations entirely on your local device (client-side) using pure JavaScript.

Our Core Privacy Promise:
When you enter your salary, mortgage debt, portfolio balances, or credit card balances into any LopperX calculator, that data exists only in your browser's temporary memory. None of your financial figures are sent over the internet, saved in server logs, stored in databases, or sold to third-party lenders or marketing brokers. When you close your browser tab, your inputs are instantly wiped.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit LopperX, our web servers and standard analytics providers may automatically collect non-personally identifiable technical information, including:

  • Device & Browser Information: Browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution, and preferred language.
  • Log Information: Internet Protocol (IP) address, referring URL, timestamp of visit, and pages viewed.
  • Aggregated Usage Metrics: Aggregate page interaction telemetry used solely to optimize website performance, mobile responsiveness, and page loading speed.

3. Cookies and Advertising Disclosures (Google AdSense)

LopperX is supported by digital advertising to keep our financial tools 100% free for all users. We partner with Google AdSense and third-party advertising networks:

  • Third-Party Vendors & Google AdSense: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to LopperX or other websites.
  • Advertising Cookies: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to LopperX and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opting Out of Personalized Advertising: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

4. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) Disclosures

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other US jurisdictions with enacted comprehensive consumer privacy statutes enjoy similar rights regarding personal data access, correction, and opt-out preferences. LopperX extends these privacy protections uniformly to all US users.

6. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

LopperX is intended for general audiences aged 18 and older seeking adult personal finance education. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal data to us, please notify us immediately at privacy@lopperx.com for swift deletion.

7. Security of Information

We implement industry-standard security safeguards, including HTTPS (Transport Layer Security / SSL encryption), strict Content Security Policies, and server-side rate limiting, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or interception of web traffic.
